The Current BBC Louis MacNeice Writer in Residence at Queen’s University Belfast is Malachi O’Doherty. Malachi is a diverse writer who has written books on politics, terrorism and religion and is a prolific memoirist. The focus of this residency is journalism and he will draw on his experience as a career freelance to stimulate discussion and reflection on writing for print media and broadcast.
